BTEC Courses

BTEC (Business and Technology Education Council) is a vocational qualification that serves as an alternative to traditional academic qualifications like GCSEs and A Levels. It is designed for students who prefer a more practical, hands-on approach to learning, focusing on developing specific skills and knowledge relevant to particular careers or industries.

One of the main advantages of BTEC is that it provides students with the opportunity to gain real- world experience and skills that are highly valued by potential employers. The courses are closely aligned with specific industries and employers, so students who complete BTECs are well-prepared to enter the workforce.

At our school, we are proud to offer both Level 2 (Year 10 and 11) and Level 3 (Sixth Form) BTEC qualifications. This gives our students more options to choose the qualification level that suits their educational and future career plans.

Our BTEC courses in Travel and Tourism and Sport allow students to explore different career options and areas of interest, helping them discover what they enjoy most and where their strengths lie. These courses are also highly relevant in the world we live in ensuring that students gain skills that can be directly applied to industry opportunities.

Additionally, BTEC qualifications provide a clear pathway to further education and training. Many students who complete BTECs go on to study at vocational colleges, enter apprenticeships, and pursue university degrees. Importantly, BTEC qualifications are recognized by the Thai University Central Admission System (TCAS), which opens up further study opportunities within Thailand. BTEC, as an alternative to GCSEs and AS/ A levels, offers a practical, hands-on learning experience, helping students gain in-demand skills, explore career options, and prepare for further education and training.
