Private Music Lessons

The ISS Music Program offers private one to one instruction alongside ECA and group performance opportunities.
​
Private Music Lessons are taken at school with our experienced peripatetic music teachers, and lesson times are coordinated with class teachers to ensure that lessons are scheduled at times that minimise disruption to students’ studies.
​
We offer private tuition in these instruments:
​
Piano / Bass / Drums / Guitar / Keyboards / Singing / Saxophone
​
Music Lessons can either simply be for enjoyment, or follow syllabuses that lead to a recognised qualification such as ABRSM or Trinity College London.

Trinity College Rock and Pop Exams
​
ISS is now an official exam centre for Trinity College London Rock and Pop exams. Students may take these exams at ISS rather than an external testing centre, and can gain UCAS and other university recognised credits.
​
ISS has varied music related clubs and ECAs, and several school bands which are open to intermediate to advanced students from Year 5 to Year 13, and perform regularly at school and external events.
