EY Students Enjoy Observing the ISS School Garden

The ISS School Garden has taken 18 months to flourish and develop, and today we are very proud that the students are finally able to enjoy all the wonderful things a 100% organic, fully pesticide and chemical free garden can teach them about creating their own smallholding. We make all the chicken food from scratch and re-use much of the canteen's leftovers for the compost heap, with the chickens thriving on the grubs. The rabbits spend a lot of time hiding in the rockery and love to eat the freshly grown alfalfa grass. The school canteen uses as many of the herbs, chillies, veggies and eggs as we can produce. In another few years the garden will be abundant with lots of different organic and pesticide-free fruit, veggies and avocados.
